"You should connect with” is one of my most used phrases in startup land.
As a Chief of Staff, I often find myself in rooms with people solving a problem someone, somewhere, has already had a good go at. The lessons exist. They're just stuck behind closed doors, in DMs, and in conversations you “had to be in the room for”.
Calling Operator is my attempt to learn in public and open a few of those doors. It's an open line for operators across Australia and New Zealand. People inside startups and scale-ups, outside of the founding team, in the messy middle and still figuring it out. And while they're trying to make technology companies work, they're mapping their own careers, leadership style, and what they want it all to add up to.
Each episode shares personal stories, the execution behind big ideas, career-defining moments, successes, failures, and lessons.
